We are so excited for the upcoming Willamette Valley Dozer Days event from May 21-22 2022. The event will run both days from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Eugene, Oregon at the Lane County Events Center.
Papé Machinery is thrilled to bring all of our OpCos to the event! Whether it’s Whether it's Papé Kenworth, Ditch Witch West, or Papé Material Handling, our team is looking forward to sharing our knowledge with the kids and supporting the event financially.
Dozer Days
Let the kids drive! Dozer Days is a fantastic annual event that seeks to get kids up close and personal with heavy equipment–and even get them into the operator’s seat! This hands-on interactive educational event gives kids the opportunity to learn all about the heavy equipment industry. It’s educational and fun! Our team can’t wait to teach the younger generations about our industry.
Age Groups
Dozer Days is for ALL ages! The event has additional machinery for big kids that are fun and safe to operate without in-cab guidance. Most equipment, though, is guided by in-cab experienced equipment operators. All activities are highly supervised. Safety first!
The event isn’t just all big rigs, either. There are other fun activities, such as the tire crawl and other fun contests!
History of the Event
The first Dozer Day was held in Wisconsin, and in 2008 the Nutter Foundation trademarked the event. This is a longtime favorite event, and it’s the first time Dozer Days is in Eugene! Oregon will be very happy to have the event at its disposal, and we’re sure the kids will have a blast operating their favorite John Deere tractors in real time. It’s like a toy coming to life, but with all the educational benefits, too!
Tickets
How do you purchase tickets to the event? You can purchase tickets online for $15! Vist the Dozer Days website for additional information about how to purchase the tickets online. The ticket sales benefit many different organizations through grants, so buying tickets is not only fun but also hugely helpful for the community. Organizations that Dozer Days helps to provide funds to include Active4Youth, American Diabetes Association, Club Relay for Life, and more. Take a look at the list of organizations the event supports here. Over the last 16 years, Dozer Days has raised over $1.6 million dollars to give back to the community.
