Papé Divisions Raise The Bar in Bellingham, Wash., With New Facility

Three businesses within The Papé Group Inc. hosted customers and community members on July 25 at an open house celebrating their new dealership in Bellingham, Wash.

The facility, located at 3896 Irongate Road, houses braches of Papé Material Handling, Inc., Bobcat West and Papé Rents. They are three of the five Papé companies, headquartered in Eugene, Ore., that sell, rent and service capital equipment used in the construction, forestry, warehousing/material handling, and private aviation industries.

Dave Pickard, general manager of Western Washington for Papé Material Handling, and Jack Anderson, Bobcat West sales manager, were on hand to discuss joining the Bellingham business community.

Pickard said the big, new facility will allow the companies to provide better service to their customers, including a major expansion of their Bobcat, Genie, Ingersoll-Rand, and Hyster rental fleets.

“It was overdue for someone to come up here at our level of capability,” Pickard added. “We’re not just a Eugene-based company – we’re here to stay.”

The open house featured catered food, prizes and giveaways, skills contests, operational demonstrations, a live radio broadcast, and music. Open-house specials included free Bobcat rental, bucket attachments, a keyless entry feature, and financing.
